Rebranding Atlas Model Railroad Company was an enjoyable experience, with many aspects culminating into a new and exciting aesthetic that better aligns with all things trains. When designing for Atlas, I wanted to step away from the plain red and blue design, and make it more about the trains themselves. The Point of Purchase display is covered in historic railroad branding, classic railroad typefaces and rivet textures to draw in attention for enthusiasts. The rolling stock boxes contained in the display are all individually designed, with no two being the same. Design elements related to the individual car such as logos, slogans and car data all help to tie the design together, creating an aesthetically appealing product.
